The Association of Black Business and Professionals received $100,000 to Implement Programs to Directly Address Disparities in Pandemic Recovery Assistance in Black Communities.
Funds will be used in partnership with the City of Springfield and MassHire to provide workshops to businesses and professionals, competitive grants up to $5,000 to Black Businesses, and internship stipends up to $2,000 to Black and Latino students/recent graduates.
One of our membership goals is for members to acquire property. To assist in doing so, the Association has established a grant to help alleviate some of the cost of buying investment property. More information on this grant will be available soon.
It's kind of simple but it's also kind of great. We pick a minority business, we send an invitation to all our members and we meet there to show our support. We also get to meet the business owner and have a great time. Check for the next Association Business Meetup on the Events Page.
