Delania Barbee, Esq. is the owner of Barbee Law Boutique, PLLC, a law firm dedicated to helping protect and build businesses and legacies. She advises clients to create strong foundations for their businesses, which may include re-evaluating and restructuring the business entity, protecting intellectual property in the business, and creating solid agreements with independent contractors and employees. To protect businesses as they grow or sustain their growth, Delania provides ongoing legal support, which may be as virtual general counsel or an outsourced member of an existing legal team. Finally, a core part of her practice is offering estate planning services to business owners and other individuals to help them to preserve what they have worked so hard for and to create the structure for legacy-building. 

Prior to opening her own law practice, Delania worked in the Corporate Law Department of a Fortune 100 company and in the General Corporate Services and Technology practice groups of a 300+ attorney law firm. She is a former President of the George W. Crawford Black Bar Association and received her B.A. cum laude from Smith College and her J.D. from the University of Connecticut School of Law.
